The weather is not so nice today, it is cloudy but very humid, I have all the windows open and there's not a breath of air coming in. Schools are back today, my Grandson was looking forward to going back, this is his final year in Primary school. Hi Everyone,

This is my first post this week. On Sunday we went to pick our Grandson up for a few days while his mum and dad were on night shift, so I didn't get a chance to make any cards. he made some, I think he is getting the crafting bug, he's only 11 years old going on 21, he is a real pleasure to have around. On Tuesday his Grandson took him out for a long walk, which he enjoyed very much, took loads of photos, they saw two jets from RAF Lossiemouth, at one point he said they were higher than the Jets. Enough waffling.

I am late today. My Grandson Matthew broke up today for his Summer Holidays, it was his School Service this morning, his Mum and Dad were working and his other Grandma was also working, so I went to give him moral support, he is in the School Choir and they were singing at the service, he also did a solo, he was very good even the teachers said he did very well. Then this afternoon I had to go to the Hairdressers, I usually go on a Friday morning but had to change it, it was worth it though.

He had his first Music exam yesterday, Grade 1 theory, boy was he nervous, he was awake at 7.30, and managed to wake his Grandma and Grandad, it was his 1st exam ever, he will hear in 4 weeks time whether he has passed, such a long time to wait.

Hope everyone had a great weekend, it was brilliant, the concert, the flotilla on the Thames, it's a pity Prince Philip was taken ill, The Queen seemed to have a thoroughly good time, although I think she missed The Prince yesterday. I watched most of it on T.V. Shame about the weather. It has turned cold again here in Inverness,

Card my Grandson Matthew made for his Grandad

Hi Everyone,

My Grandson is with us this weekend and he thought it would be a good idea to make a card for his Grandad as he hasn't been well, he made most of it himself with a little help  I did the cutting for him, but he said what he wanted to do , I think he has made a good job ot it. He made with some free Tatty Teddy papers and a Tatty teddy stamp which I had in my stash. Punched butterflies and a Tatty Teddy sentiment.
