Me thinks the Summer is nearly over, the nights are turning cooler and the nights are drawing in.

Matthew is here for the Weekend, before he starts back to School on Tuesday, he is going to Secondary School, so he is feeling a little anxious, but looking forward to going back to School.

 

I made this card using The Dutch fold tutorial, I quite like this design and is not to fiddily.

Good Afternoon,

 

Hope everyone is well in blogland.

We had a wonderful holiday, it was very hot. We went to the Netherlands, Germany and Belgium.

The boat trip was great, we sailed from North Shields to Ijmuiden, near Amsterdam. Then drove to Maastricht, where we saw Andre Rieu in Concert, in the open air, it was fabulous. We were there for 2 days. Then drove to Aachen in Germany for 1 night. Then onto to Hasselt in Belgium to see my Relatives, we had 2 nights there and onto Mechelen and drove to Ieper, we saw the Menen Gate, and the huge Cemetory of the war dead of the 1st World War.

We had a wonderful time, wished we could of stayed longer.
